Windy City Challenges

Do you have what it takes to get your name on our Windy City Challenge boards? Set your sights on a challenge, then pull a coach aside to get an official record. Good luck!

Only coaches can grace your name on the Windy City Challenge Boards (i.e. please don't add your own name).

To earn a spot on this board, you must meet the following weight requirements (based on your body weight and gender) for Press, Bench Press, Back Squat and Deadlift. All lifts must be verified by a coach.


Men:

For example, if you weigh 165, then you must complete 102 Press + 152 Bench Press + 204 Back Squat + 254 Deadlift to earn a spot on the Level 1 board.

  • Level 1: Intermediate
  • Level 2: Proficient
  • Level 3: Advanced
  • Level 4: Exceptional

Women:

For example, if you weigh 132, then you must complete 55 Press + 82 Bench Press + 110 Back Squat + 137 Deadlift to earn a spot on the Level 1 board.

  • Level 1: Intermediate
  • Level 2: Proficient
  • Level 3: Advanced
  • Level 4: Exceptional

To earn a spot on this board, you must meet the following consecutive strict pull-up and strict dip requirements, verified by a coach.


Men:

  • Level 1: 10 pull-up + 15 dip

  • Level 2: 15 pull-up + 20 dip

  • Level 3: 20 pull-up + 25 dip

  • Level 4: 25+ pull-up + 35+ dip


Women:

  • Level 1: 3 pull-up + 5 dip

  • Level 2: 5 pull-up + 10 dip

  • Level 3: 10 pull-up + 15 dip

  • Level 4: 13+ pull-up + 20+ dip

To earn a spot on this board, you must meet the following hurdle jump requirements, verified by a coach.


Men:

  • Level 1: 47” hurdle jump

  • Level 2: 51” hurdle jump

  • Level 3: 55” hurdle jump

  • Level 4: 57”+ hurdle jump


Women:

  • Level 1: 36” hurdle jump

  • Level 2: 38” hurdle jump

  • Level 3: 40” hurdle jump

  • Level 4: 44”+ hurdle jump

To earn a spot on this board, you must register a 1 mile sprint under the required time, verified by a coach.


Men:

  • Level 1: sub 8:00
  • Level 2: sub 7:00
  • Level 3: sub 6:30
  • Level 4: sub 6:00

Women:

  • Level 1: sub 8:30
  • Level 2: sub 7:30
  • Level 3: sub 7:00
  • Level 4: sub 6:30

To earn a spot on this board, you must register the following 500m row times, verified by a coach.


Men:

  • Level 1: 500m sub 1:33

  • Level 2: 500m sub 1:30

  • Level 3: 500m sub 1:27

  • Level 4: 500m sub 1:25


Women:

  • Level 1: 500m sub 1:50

  • Level 2: 500m sub 1:47

  • Level 3: 500m sub 1:44

  • Level 4: 500m sub 1:41
