Joe started doing CrossFit at Windy City in 2013 as a way to train for Spartan Races. As a hockey player most of his life, the fast pace and competition in CrossFit was a great fit after struggling for years to find the right workout program. He then completed multiple Spartan Races including a Beast distance in the mountains in Utah.
At that point Joe found a true passion for health and fitness and pursued coaching as a way to help others reach their full potential. He believes in the motto "first move well, then move often" and wants to help athletes be better every day.
Today, Joe mostly trains to stay fit and competitive for men's league hockey and his frequent ski trips out west in the winter. He focuses on the power lifts and short metcons. Heavy, hard, fast! Also, he believes no fitness plan is complete without proper nutrition to reach your goals.
